2024 has seen massive growth for Bluelight Lining Ltd and new premises were required.
Due to the increase of product sales increased storage space, and a new impregnation facility were required to keep up with the demand. The search for new warehousing and manufacturing premises has come to an end. Searching far and wide for a new location that was suitable for the needs of the business it was by shear luck that a new location was found just round the of our existing location.
Extensive works were required to get everything up to scratch and lots of internal and external works were put in place. The building was run down and a blank canvas for what we required. New internal stud walls were fabricated which allowed insulation to be added reducing the day to day running costs, designated areas were built for the impregnation facility, this included a brand new conveyor system, integrated air conditioning allowing for consistent temperatures year round, warehousing and repair rooms and a full display room and offices were built, due to the number of Bluelight systems in circulation a full repairs room was also integrated into the new facility.
These dedicated premises allowed for additional growth, enabled quality control to be satisfied and more importantly consistent high quality products to be manufactured and distributed from one location. It was also important for the location to be able to have an additional impregnation plant fitted as and when required.
After many weeks and multiple re-thinking of how it was all going to work we have finally moved into our new factory. The ability to hold in excess of 15,000m of un-impregnated liners, 15,000kg of resin, easy loading and unloading, dedicated display room and repairs to be carried out under one roof all while still being functional and professional and offering good value for money to our clients we are so pleased to be able to show this facility off to all who come and visit us.
We will be holding an open day in the New Year to welcome all our customers and show off the months of hard work by everyone involved.
